Workout Smarter, Not Harder
We don't have to train for hours and hours each week. Instead 10-15 minutes per day will do the trick!
There is a misconception that to get noticeable results we need to put hours and hours of training in. This is simply not the case. If we workout smarter we can actually achieve better results than if we worked out longer.
10 to 15 minutes of intense, multifunctional movements, using body weight as a resistance can give astounding results. Then combine this technique with Pilates principles of core engagement, control, balance, breathing and flexibility, then we are really onto something.
A workout that is an intense calorie burn, creates an afterburn effect whilst strengthening and lengthening the muscles for a toned and feminine look and improving balance and flexibility at the same time. No jumping about, no impact on joints, the moves are controlled and fluid, working the muscles in different planes. Lots of rotational moves to maximize muscle fibre uptake and nearly always working the muscles in more ways than one. this is why it is so effective and how we can condense a truly effective workout into just 10 or 15 minutes.
Using different techniques, varying the workouts, using small weights to increase workload and maintaining good form and core engagement. That is how we have designed our workouts, to be effective and efficient and need minimal props. Yes we like our hand and ankle weights and we do love to work with a small indoor ball (or a pillow!), but all workouts can be done without these props too.
Not many of us can find an hour a day to workout and actually, we really don’t need to.
